Light Bot Tutorial

This is the tutorial to learn how to run the light-bot for networknt projects and how to leverage it for your organizations and repositories. As it is using config module from light-4j, the config files can be externalized to somewhere in the host filesystem. You can deploy it in one of your DevOps VMs and set it up to run automatically for developing build and test. Other tasks are triggered manually and only used occasionally.

Broken Release

When using release-maven to release the light-platform components together, it is sometimes broken in the middle due to 502 error or build error. Light Release

Light consists of numeric repositories in github.com/networknt organization. Some of the repositories are libraries and some of them are applications built on top of other libraries. Dependency Build

For developers who are working on the Light platform, they have to work on the develop branch which is not released to the maven central yet. When they are working on a repo which depends on other repositories, Maven will try to find these dependencies in the local .m2 directory and will report an error if it cannot locate them.
